Upgrade Notice: Joomla 1.5.20

Joomla 1.5.20 is now available. This release corrects "packaging issues" with 1.5.19 that may have seen security fixes not make it into the patch updates (the full package is fine).

Customers on Abivia application support plans were not affected by this problem since we build our own upgrade packages. In order to maintain the same version numbers, we have installed Joomla version 1.5.20.Abivia1 on all managed accounts.

Specific features of the Abivia release are:

• the security features of the official release are included,
• the user sign-up process has user-transparent features designed to reduce users created by bots, and
• an "exclude from selected menu items" module appearance option.

Customers without support plans should upgrade to 1.5.20 at their earliest opportunity. 1.5.20 release packages can be found on the Joomlacode site.
